Public Library Administators of North Texas, PLANT, is an organization for library directors in the North Texas area.

Among its accomplishments, PLANT wrote the Public Library Advisory Board Handbook that the Texas State Library and Archives Commission published in 2000, published A Genealogy Union List of P.L.A.N.T. Member Libraries, and established a Film Cooperative that shared films among member libraries for nearly 20 years, saving every library thousands of dollars per year.

Public library directors in the north Texas region are cordially invited to join PLANT. We invite you to attend a meeting to determine if you would like to join.
